Venues
Spirit Moves Dance classes can be held anywhere with room to move and a plug for the stereo. Small group lessons (3-6 dancers), semi-private classes, and private sessions can be held at your own home or in an alternate venue if desired. Contact Meg with venue suggestions and to book a class. (Note: venues that require rental fees are the responsibility of the client unless otherwise agreed). Weekly classes will also be offered periodically out of studio spaces around the HRM. Scheduling will depend on interest and attendance.

Fees
Studio classes: Drop-in fees: $10/1-hour class and $15/1.5-hour class.
Term fees vary (See schedule page).
Semi-Private classes: $20 per person
Small Group Classes: $15 per person
Private classes: $30/1-hour session and $40/1.5-hour session

Dress Code
Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in. Anything from baggy sweats to skirts to leotards and tights is fine -the only thing that matters is how you feel. You can dance barefoot or in dance shoes, but socks are discouraged because they tend to slip. People with foot or leg problems who require extra support are encouraged to wear whatever is needed to ensure comfort and safety. Listen to your body. Bring a sweater or blanket for relaxation. Water bottles are a must!

Who can take a Spirit Moves class?
Absolutely anyone!
Spirit Moves experiences can be tailored to suit anyone, from mothers with toddlers (babies love to dance!) to senior citizens with limited mobility. Anyone can dance!
